Photography Pin It Oh these snowy images make my heart swoon! This time of year is always tricky with the weather. I religiously follow about 3 different weather apps and most of the time, they are all WRONG! This is why I always wait until the very last minute to reschedule for rain or snow. Sometimes we get the most gorgeous session with a cloudy day as a storm is rolling in (or after it has just finished). And on this day, we had the most beautiful light snowfall covering these two as they celebrated their sweet babe! Then, in true Colorado fashion, it started dumping and we hustled back to the car!! I also want to point out how AMAZING this mama looked. She walked all over Aspen in that gorgeous gown in the snow, I'd say it was worth it though! Photography Pin It Oh these sweet boys! I can't believe how fast a year can go by. It shouldn't surprise me, I have 2 little guys of my own and they change in a blink of an eye! But every time a client reaches out to book their one year session I feel like I JUST did their newborn session. This new set makes my heart so happy. I love the slower season when I can be creative and shoot sessions just for me! I can't wait for all of the families I will capture in this beautiful scene this year! Photography Pin It Pinterest… I wish I knew how many hours I have spent in my life getting lost on Pinterest! It can be an amazing tool though when it comes to planning out your session. Whether it is outfit inspiration, favorite poses or CAKE SMASH décor! When Lucy’s mama sent me a screen shot from Pinterest of a winter wonderland scene I was so excited to bust out my mod podge and glitter and get to work! I LOVE creating these special sets for cake smash sessions. I’m not a huge “prop” photographer but for these I love all the fun details that can be used to make each one unique.
